15 Things on Sale You’ll Actually Want to Buy, From Stila to Sodastream

In this week’s roundup of the best deals, we’ve found Aveda hair care at 20 percent off, some deeply discounted home electronics items, like a Phillips Airfyer and a De’Longhi toaster, and a buy-it-now deal from Halston.

A classic little black dress from Halston, in 100 percent wool, and currently available through to U.S. size 14 (that’s a U.K. 18). Snap it up.

Wear that black dress with this mini leather shoulder bag by 3.1 Phillip Lim.

And finish off the outfit with these hammered metal hoops.

When we combed Amazon for the highest-rated toasters, De’Longhi’s Brillante four-slice toaster came out on top. It has 1,212 reviews in total, with a staggering 81 percent of those being five stars.

This entry-level SodaStream package is down to £40 (from £64). By the way, if you’re on the fence regarding the gas canisters that come with your SodaStream, you can bring them to Argos to be exchanged.

The Philips Airfryer has cult status when it comes to low-fat cooking. It’s £99 (down from £199) — which means it’s the same price as the Tefal Actifry (£99), to which it’s often compared. However, the Philips Airfryer can fry, bake, roast, and grill while the Tefal Actifry just “fries.”

We’re big fans of DMs at the Strategist. Their 1460 boot came out top on our deep-dive into the best boots for men, with Esquire style director Matthew Marden praising the British boot brand for their durability and longevity.

Their 1461 Oxford shoe (complete with yellow stitching) is also down to just £90, down from £120.

These black scuffette slippers have a sturdy cork and rubber sole, so although they’re perfect to slip on after a long day, you could also take the bins out in them.

There are some gems in the Cult Beauty sale, including this medium-coverage foundation from Stila, available in a wide range of shades.

We also spotted this dual blush and highlighter from By Terry (available in Amber Light, Cream Melba and Copper Coffee).

Meanwhile, there’s some rarely-on-sale Aveda haircare at Look Fantastic, including this leave-in treatment that protects hair against heat styling.

This travel-size thickening tonic is a good way to try out a luxury product, without committing the cash to a full size.

These Champagne saucers on sale at Made.com would make a thoughtful housewarming gift.

We’ve featured this bedspread in Friday Sales before, but it’s now the cheapest we’ve ever seen it.

The Strategist UK is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Read about who we are and what we do here. Our editors update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
