We thought we’d start this week’s Friday sales with some homewares. La Redoute is normally our go-to for high-quality home furnishings, like furniture and rugs, but we’ve also spied some home décor at the lower end of the price scale. We like these water glasses with a coloured base, £17 for four (down from £30). They’re dishwasher-safe, too.
If your colour scheme is more minimal, we also spied a set of four gold-rimmed glasses, at a slightly lower discount (£24 for four, with the code NEW).

La Redoute also have up to 30 percent off their rugs, with the code NEW. That includes this perennially popular Berber-style rug.
When we scoured Amazon for the best-rated slow cookers, the Crock-Pot won out as the best programmable option. Not only is this slow cooker a whopping five litres, but the programmable digital timer allows you to customise the cooking time for optimum results. It’s currently a third off, at £74 (down from £110).
Not everybody has the space (or the need) for a large set of knives, and this three-piece set by Orient is Amazon’s best-rated all-rounder, featuring three knives total. It comes with a chef’s knife, a utility knife, and a paring knife, which will cover most chopping, slicing, and mincing needs in the kitchen.
We first spotted the handykette trend in Berlin, and are thrilled to see that Urban Outfitters now stocks ’em.
Lastly, in rain jacket news, we are taken with this old timey cagoule, in a limited run of yellow wax cotton.
