Our eyes fell upon these rather wearable hoops at the Outnet. They’re by American designer Kenneth Jay Lane (best known for his dramatic costume jewellery, as worn by Jackie O and more), but are a mere £18 (down from £40).
We like the hammered metal effect, which makes them a little more interesting than day to day hoops. They’re small enough to wear with a polo neck to work, and not so expensive that if you happen to lose one on a night out you’ll be furious.
A note for those with sensitive lobes: These hoops are gold-toned, not gold-plated.
