As Father’s Day approaches (it’s June 21), you may be considering what to buy for the dad in your life — whether that’s a new father, or a member of your chosen family. While roaming the John Lewis sale this morning, we saw two dad-appropriate jackets on sale: for two quite different kinds of dads.
Firstly, a handsome Paul Smith chore jacket, currently half price (£115, down from £230). It’s made from thick cotton, but machine washable (important for a new dad, or a clumsy one). Secondly, a Monty Don-ish Barbour x National Trust linen overshirt (£64, down from £130).
Both items are available in a wide range of sizes, and are both “trending” on the John Lewis site — they won’t be around for long.
