This morning, while browsing the END sale, we spied a good deal on (several) pairs of Adidas Stan Smith trainers. We were particularly drawn to the classic option, which also happens to be the lowest price. They are 33 percent off for for men’s sizes (£45, down from £67), and 35 percent off for women’s sizes (£49, down from £74).
Sizes vary depending on the colour of the heel tab. For example, the men’s white/green colourway comes in sizes from U.K. 4 to 12, and the white/navy comes in U.K. 6 to 11. The women’s sizes start at U.K. 7 and go up to 9.5.
When we asked cool people about the best white trainers for women, interior designer Suzy Hoodless called the Stan Smith a “classic trainer.” And our sister site The Cut declared that “Stan Smiths look good with literally everything” in their guide to the best trainers to buy right now. Strategist U.K. staff writer Chris Mandle, who says he almost exclusively wears white tennis trainers, said the Stan Smiths were the only ones he’d buy again and again (he’s currently on his fourth pair).
