We spotted a good deal this morning for anyone planning on streaming a lot of content over Christmas. Amazon’s Fire TV Stick Lite is now £18, down from £30 (which is the cheapest we’ve ever seen it).

Like Amazon’s other streaming devices, it features access to thousands of apps in HD, from paid-subscription options (like Disney+, Amazon Prime, and Netflix), live TV, and free options including All 4 and ITV Hub. Also, as of this week, the Fire TV Stick is compatible with Now TV.

The main difference is that Amazon’s Fire Stick Lite comes with Alexa Voice Remote Lite — it still lets you search for and launch content, but it cannot control power or volume on your TV and sound bar. Amazon also says that it will arrive before Christmas, making it a perfect last-minute gift for someone.
