The Asos sale currently has a hefty discount on coats and jackets. You can take an additional 25 percent off sale items with the code LAYERUP. Though we spied North Face jackets, and fleecey shackets, we found ourselves drawn to this cheerful raincoat from Danish outerwear brand Rains.
It’s now £61 (down from £110) and available in all sizes (XXS-XL). There are a handful of other Rains items in the sale, but none are available in such a wide range of sizes (in fact, quite a few are available in one size alone).
We like the transparent (but not sheer) waterproof fabric: a chance to share your outfit, even when trudging the same loop around the park as the day before. An additional detail? The transparent version is a particular favourite of stylist Itunu Oke, who has dressed everyone from Timothée Chalamet to Domhnall Gleeson.
