The Uniqlo clearance aisle is full of delights at the moment — from J+ cashmere coats for £100 off to savings on ultralight down puffers, it’s a veritable bargain basement. But we found it hard to look away from this merino wool crewneck jumper. It’s now £10, down from £25, and available in six colours, and sizes XS to XXL.
The colours on offer include a sweet pastel purple, an attractive slate green, or (our favourite) a cream that looks far more expensive than it is. It’s worth noting that reviews say that the lighter colours are more sheer than the darker ones, but many reviewers say that the top is perfect for throwing on as a base layer, or for wearing underneath a pinafore dress.
