Ruby Aryiku, co-founder of Vamp, a digital agency specialising in developing Black British artists, told us she is a big fan of Quay, an Australian sunglasses brand that started out on the festival circuit. Aryiku particularly likes its square-shaped frames. “They’re retro inspired, and of course, are slightly oversized — I’m a huge fan of oversized sunglasses as they suit me the best and go with anything. When I wear these to pitch meetings with my business partners, Christina and Rumbi, I instantly feel more confident.”
We spied a couple of pairs of Quays in the ASOS sale: some significantly discounted. Of note are these oversized square sunglasses in black: now £28 (down from £50), and per ASOS, they’re selling fast. We also quite like these tortoiseshell cat-eyes (now £40, down from £50), for those whose wardrobes are less monochromatic.
