While browsing the Uniqlo autumn sale rack, we spotted several cardigans, crewnecks, and V-necks on sale, but none in a wide size range. Then our eyes fell upon this handsome merino cardigan, available in sizes S-XXL and at almost a third off — £25, down from £35. It’s available in deep charcoal, light grey, or off-white (we like the charcoal best).
A few practical things we like about it: The fabric is coated to stop pilling, it’s machine-washable, and treated so as not to fray.
A few less practical things we like about it: We like the slight ribbing at the cuffs and the bottom of the cardigan, as well as the fine neckline. The buttons are pleasingly unobtrusive. We’re imagining throwing it on during an October Zoom call, but also shoving it in an overnight bag when spring (and opportunity to travel) eventually arrives.
