16 Things on Sale You’ll Actually Want to Buy: From Gap to Ganni

Photo: retailer

Between a new lockdown beginning, and the evenings getting dark at 4 p.m., we’re looking for some relief in the world of internet sales. And they’re looking particularly good today, with deep discounts on duvet covers from Made.com, winter coats at ASOS, and cashmere from the Gap.

There is an astonishing sale at the Outnet — a further 25 percent off all clearance items with the code LASTCHANCE.

This Ganni top is now just £11 (down from £75).

This three-pack of cotton face masks from Gap are further discounted to just under £9 (that’s £3 a mask). These masks have three layers of cotton, and a filter pocket, as well as an adjustable nosepiece. There are plenty of colourways to choose from, but our eyes were drawn to this cheerful blue tie-dye.

Unusually, Gap’s current sale has no restrictions, which means you can get 40 percent off new arrivals, and normally-not-included categories like cashmere. We like this zippy pink beanie.

Some exceptionally nice wine glasses are almost a third off.

£16

This brush set from Real Techniques would make an ideal gift for a younger cousin (or a friend who got into makeup TikTok over the summer).

CeraVe Moisturising Cream

This moisturiser (beloved of beauty writer Daniela Morosini) is on sale for the same discount at both Amazon and Look Fantastic — but if you’re doing a larger CeraVe shop, Look Fantastic will include a complimentary CeraVe Creamy Cleanser (50 ml) when you spend £30 on the brand.

A Columbia puffer (in wearable black) at twenty percent off (£88, down from £110). It’s currently available in XS-XL.

There’s a secret treasure trove in the H&M Home sale — this rather lovely linen tablecloth is now just £20.

When we spoke to nine different experts from the world of fashion and interior design about their favourite duvet covers, almost half of them recommended H&M Home, including Antonia Ludden, founder of interiors blog Tidy Away Today.

Strategist UK editor Ailbhe Malone swears by the Made.com Solar range — “They’re super-soft Portuguese cotton and wash like a dream. I own two sets, the mustard and the teal, and both delight me when I put them on my bed.” The mustard set is now just under £30.

We spotted this pleasing toothbrush holder (already cheap, now half-price) at the Conran Shop.

A deeply discounted electric toothbrush to put in that holder.

The Strategist UK is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Read about who we are and what we do here. Our editors update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
