We first featured this this magnetic pair of Mpow earphones in May last year — when we looked at the best-rated earphones on Amazon, they were deemed the best for running and exercising. Already cheap, they’re now almost half price (£20, down from £33).
At the time, Strategist editor Ailbhe Malone was so impressed by the reviews that she bought them for her marathon-running sister-in-law (and herself, and her husband).
The earphones now have over 7,000 reviews on Amazon. Both cyclists and gymgoers recommend them but they were most popular with runners — reviewers recommended them for jogging, marathon training, and 5Ks, adding that they stayed secure even on high-intensity runs. The fact they are waterproof also impressed reviewers because they are resistant to both rain and sweat (one reviewer claims he can even shower with them in, although Mpow cautions against this).
