Here at the Strategist UK, we like to think of ourselves as obsessive (in the best way) about the stuff we buy, but as much as we’d like to, we can’t try everything. Which is why we have People’s Choice, in which we find the best-reviewed products and single out the most convincing ones. (You can learn more about our rating system and how we pick each item here.)

And while we’ve written about Christmas trees before on our U.S. site, here, we’ve rounded up the very best selection of artificial Christmas trees to add some festive cheer to your home, as praised by the most enthusiastic reviewers on Amazon.

Others mentioned how easy the branches were to manoeuvre into a position that made the foliage look thick and fluffy; one customer, who had never bought an artificial Christmas tree before, said she was blown away by how realistic it looked.

The tree has a multifunction controller used to illuminate the 400 warm LED lights woven around its branches, with the option to alternate between eight different light settings. It comes with a box for storage and a metal stand, with reviewers rating it 4.6 stars for sturdiness. Thirty-seven other customers suggested it was easy to assemble. If a seven-foot tree is likely to take up too much space in your home, you can also buy a five- or six-foot version.

It was considered easy to assemble in 37 reviews, a further 23 commented it was great value for money.
