The bag comes equipped with a number of handy features, such as a USB port for charging devices and a waterproof finish (so your tech doesn’t get wet). The bag also benefits from anti-theft technology in the form of durable metal zippers and a number-coded padlock. The secure backpack offers peace of mind according to one reviewer, who mentioned that he no longer panics about his laptop during a mid-library session dash to the loo. Another customer, partial to a snooze on the tube home, agreed — he said he too could relax, and perhaps sleep a little sounder.
Fifty-four reviewers said that the bag offered great value for the money, pointing out that bags with similar features can often cost up to double the price. A couple of reviewers did mention that they’d found the bag lacking somewhat in style, but in functionality, it was unparalleled.

This stylish bag from Lekesky was the best-rated pick for students. It offers a number of similar features to the best-rated pick, such as a waterproof finish, and a built-in padded laptop sleeve. Many customers found the bag comfortable to wear thanks to its tote handles and padded straps, which they said helped to shoulder the weight of heavy books. The bag can fit everything you need for a day at the library, but at 15.6 inches, the bag is best suited to laptops such as MacBooks and Dells (so those with larger devices would be better off looking for something a tad bigger).
Best-rated stylish laptop backpack
With over 80 percent five-star ratings, the large version of the Kanken bag (17 litres) is incredibly popular. Seven reviewers called it the sturdiest backpack they’d ever tried. One reviewer mentioned that their bag survived downpour after downpour, but remained dry. Another reviewer said that the bag was more than capable of lugging her weekly reading from the library back to halls. Customers suggest that the hefty price tag is reflective of the bag’s overall quality; 14 called the bag well-made, and one reviewer said it was consistent with the standard she has come to expect from Kanken.
