Peter Lopez, also known as Brooklyn Tech Guy, recommended the Mosiso sleeves for MacBooks due to their very specific size options, and over 500 reviewers concur, saying that their MacBook fits snugly with no wiggle room. The additional pouch was also mentioned in numerous reviews, customers said that having space to store their accessories — such as chargers and styluses — removed a great deal of faff. One customer, a student, said that she liked the pastel finish of her sleeve so much, she’d be happily spotted with it in the library.
Best shock-resistant laptop case
This shock-resistant laptop sleeve by JETech has 80 percent five-star reviews. At 13.3 inches, reviewers recommended the sleeve to owners of MacBook Pros, MacBook Airs, Dell 13 5000s and various HP models. With a built-in accessories pocket, customers said that the sleeve also has room for chargers and small accessories — albeit at somewhat of a squeeze. Some 160 reviewers praised the case’s waterproof finish, including one who found his laptop bone dry even after cycling home in the rain. Another customer was grateful for the scratch-preventing padding around the sleeve’s zipper, a feature she’d found lacking in other sleeves she’d purchased.
Best snap-on laptop case for MacBook Pro
Hard-shell cases attach directly to devices, protecting your tech without adding any additional bulk. As snap-on cases attach directly to the laptop, it’s essential to find a case with dimensions specific to your device. This will ensure that it not only fits, but that it doesn’t block any charging or USB ports. This case in particular measures at 13 inches, and is designed for a MacBook Pro. Over 150 fellow customers said that the case fit onto their MacBook precisely and with ease.
Best snap-on case for HP laptop
Reviewers like how this case prevents unsightly scratches on their HP laptops — 73 percent of them rated the case five stars. The case is available in a choice of eight vibrant shades, including a clear option for those who simply want to protect their laptop. One customer found the case unobtrusive to use — she said she hardly even noticed the case was there due to a lack of bulk. Another agreed — she found that her laptop now slid into her bag with ease.
Best snap-on case for MacBook Air
Five reviewers were pleased with the value for money of this case, whilst twelve customers were fans of the finish — one lady even said she preferred her MacBook Air with the case fitted. Several reviewers praised the extra grips fitted along the bottom of the case, a feature lacking in generic, similarly priced cases according to three reviewers. The case is available in numerous designs, including transparent and pastel pink, but the bulk of reviewers’ praise was actually directed towards the patterned cases. One customer said that her laptop had never looked better thanks to the marble effect case, and another enjoyed how the floral option complemented the Apple logo on her device.
Best hard-shell laptop case
Another heavy-duty option, this MacBook-suitable sleeve has an average rating of 4.8 stars. One reviewer said that the quality of the product was unmatched, especially when compared with products that were double (and triple) its price. Another reviewer said despite the ability to withstand serious damage, the water-resistant case itself is surprisingly light. So light, in fact, she barely noticed carrying the added weight around.
Best case for tablets
This case from EasyAcc protects your small devices, and 79 percent of its reviews are five stars. Four reviewers said that the case is hard-wearing, with 70 others saying that the case (designed for a Galaxy-sized tablet) fits their device like a glove. One reviewer liked the way the case folds over — she likes to fashion it into a stand for watching longer videos and movies. Another customer said she would now never dream of letting her children play with the tablet without the protective case fitted.
Best case for iPads
This JETech case, with a 4.6 average star rating from an enormous 63,190 reviews, offers the same style of protection, only for iPad tablets. The case is available in shades ranging from pastel purple to rose gold, and can be fashioned into a stand, much like the EasyAcc case. Customers found the case to be ideally sized, with 76 describing the fit as snug. In fact, one customer said that the case fits just as well as the official Apple version, despite being a sixth of the price.
