I’ve actually been using this cleanser for more than a year, after Goldilocks-ing my way through both foaming and hydrating cleansers to find the best one for my skin. The SA cleanser is named for its salicylic acid, an ingredient that gently exfoliates skin and helps unclog pores. Dermatologist Adeline Kikam told us it’s gentle enough that she recommends it to patients with sensitive skin. “It has gentler beta-hydroxy acids (BHAs) as well as other ingredients like ceramides to replenish the skin-care barrier,” she explains.
