With the government announcing that all COVID-19 restrictions are set to be lifted on July 19, face masks will no longer be made compulsory when visiting shops, entering a bar or restaurant, and taking public transport. Instead, the prime minister has advised individuals to consider mask-wearing in crowded situations, indoor or poorly ventilated places, or as a point of common courtesy to others.

And while you might have amassed several fabric face masks over the last year and a half, chances are they are starting to look past their best. If you’re looking to refresh your face-mask collection, you’re in luck; we noticed Gap has slashed the price of its mask multipacks to just £1, down from £5 — a saving of 80 percent.

The contour masks feature some details we particularly like in a face mask — including toggles to adjust the one-size masks to fit your face (this prevents air escaping, which is the main cause of your glasses fogging up). They also contain a filter pocket, allowing you to add a third layer for extra protection. And they come in a range of colours and designs, such as floral, tie-dye, and even pineapple-print options.

As well as the mixed sets, you can pick up a couple of single-design packs. We like these tie-dye ones.
