We’ve covered all kinds of vacuum cleaners at the Strategist, but finding the best robot vacuums can be vexing. Most of them, for starters, look very similar, whether high-end or affordable, and they use different methods for quantifying suction than standard upright vacuums. To figure out which are the best robot vacuums, we spoke to professional cleaners, pet owners, and other experts to find out what models actually work — and which ones are best avoided.
Eufy was one of the most recommended brands out there (we named its G20 vacuum the best overall and its 11S model the best inexpensive model on the market, respectively). And during our Prime Day snooping, we spied one of the company’s BoostIQ robot vacuums on a pretty good deal: It’s currently 33 percent off and the cheapest we’ve ever seen it.
This is Eufy’s 30C model, which sits pretty snugly between the G20 and the 11S in terms of suction power and run time. At 1,500 Pa (the metric used to measure suction), it offers more than the 11S’s 1,300 Pa but less than the G20’s 2,500 suction. The battery life is 90 minutes — much better than the G20’s 70-minute offering but less than the 11S’s 100 minutes. We don’t think this will stay in stock long at this price — so if you’re in the market for a dust-guzzling new addition to your home, we strongly recommend this model.
